Who do you need to Become to get where you're going?
What Got You Here Won't Get You Where You're Going Next
Like me, you were probably taught to follow a well-worn path: ace school, land a good job, grow in your role, and live the dream. That’s what people do. It's supposed to work. But at some point, a lot of us look up and realize the map we’ve been following no longer helps us navigate the territory we're in.
Maybe you love your job but now find yourself in a leadership role that requires skills nobody taught you, like having hard conversations, building trust across a team, or managing people who used to be your peers. Maybe you've outgrown your role and can't figure out what comes next. Or maybe things just feel flat. Foggy. What Adam Grant calls languishing.
A title and a salary are real milestones, but they don't automatically come with the clarity, confidence, or relational skills to keep growing once you've reached them. Coaching lives in that gap between where you are and who you need to become to get where you're going.
I help people build deep confidence (not the hype-yourself-up-with-power-poses-and-affirmations kind), set a course, and genuinely enjoy taking on the challenges they face in their careers. Not because everything gets easier, but because they become more capable.
What it’s like to work with me
We start by getting honest about where you actually are, not where you think you should be. We define the outcome you want from coaching, we make sure your career and definition of success are aligned with that outcome, and we get honest about what it’s going to take to start making changes. That usually means taking inventory of your habits, your relationships, and your thoughts and emotional patterns to understand what works and what holds you back.
It doesn't mean you have to blow up your career and start over. It's more practical than that:
Reconnecting with your values and what actually motivates you
Addressing the beliefs, habits, and skill gaps holding you back
Running experiments to find a path forward that makes sense given what we learn
And when you reach a goal, how do you know you've gotten there instead of just moving the goalposts again? Sometimes, the only thing standing between you and the career you've built is the ingrained habit to stay dissatisfied so you can keep striving.
Whether you feel stuck, burned out, or stumped by people dynamics that feel impossible, we work together to clarify who and where you are in your career and life today. Then, we figure out how to move forward purposefully and realistically.
It's collaborative. It's honest. And it's not about getting you past a single roadblock. It's about building the self-awareness and skills to navigate whatever comes next, so you don't need a coach every time things get hard. The goal is forward momentum you can sustain on your own.
If you're curious about what it's going to take to lead and work in a way that feels like you, let's have a conversation.
How This Works
-
Getting Started
In our initial sessions, we’ll get to know who you are, not just what you do.
We’ll clarify your values, not just picking from a generic list of buzzwords, but through honest reflection and conversation about what you actually care about and how that shows up in your day-to-day.
Then we get specific: what brought you to coaching, and what would success actually look like from here. -
The Work
This looks different for everybody, because each of us faces a slightly different set of internal and external challenges. Maybe it's impostor syndrome or difficulty building trust with your peers. Maybe it's feeling stuck in stagnation.
Fundamentally, comes down to the habits, beliefs, and relational dynamics that made sense at some point but are now working against you.
Whatever the challenge, we find a leverage point and start asking questions, running small experiments, and making changes. We'll incorporate tools and frameworks to support you between coaching calls. -
Sustaining the Change
Lasting change takes time and follow-through, and the goal was never to need a coach forever.
We'll make sure the clarity, habits, and self-awareness you've built are self-sustaining.
The behaviors you build, the relationships you form, and the insights you carry forward — the person you become through this work — will help you navigate future challenges more skillfully.
Because they will come. The difference is how you meet them when they do.
let’s talk
The first call is free, and it's a real coaching conversation — not a sales pitch. We'll get into what's actually going on, what you want to be different, and what's gotten in the way so far.
By the end of the call, you'll have a clearer sense of what's worth working on and how coaching might help you get there. If it makes sense to work together, we'll talk about what that looks like. If it doesn't, you'll still leave with something useful.
No pressure, no pitch. Just an honest conversation.
